1848 Reserve Merlot 2024The wine is colored dark ruby. It has aromas of blackberries, licorice with a hint of spices and flavors of ripe plum and raspberry. The wine is refined and has a long impressive finish. The wine was aged for 24 months in barrels. The grapes were night harvested and immediately transferred to the winery for gentle crushing and a temperaturecontrolled fermentation. At the end of the process, the wine was aged for 24 months in small French oak barrels.
