Draahlus Rolling Pin Pennsylvania DutchHard to find mixed woods Pennsylvania Dutch, double handled rolling pin dating from the1850 ~ 1875 era. The pin is fashioned from maple while the other wood elements are of the butternut wood variety. Hand cut nails were used on the front side locations while the twin handles were doweled in place on the carved left and right hand side pieces. The double handle feature provided more comfort for the baker and allowed for an even rolling of the dough.
